Have you been struck by Marie Kondo fever? Realizing maybe you don’t need a different moisturizer for every day of the week? Welcome to the club. We know parting with things that don’t spark joy is easier said than done, especially when it comes to skincare. You spent good money on that! But here’s the good news: your gently used products don’t have to go to waste. There are plenty of options that benefit a good cause and your recent need for Kondo-ing, so here’s how to donate your products.
Editor’s Note: We are listing some charities around the US, but please consider acting locally and donating to a women’s shelter in your area! They accept new and gently used products. Some of these charities below also accept lightly used products (different charities have different guidelines). Basically, don’t donate anything you wouldn’t use yourself due to the condition.
