Describe your skin:

Skin Goals:

My short-term goal ties into my long-term goal, which is: to prevent breakouts after workouts. My long-term goal is to eliminate the milia buildup on my forehead that is a result of not taking proper care of my skin in the past. My overarching goal for my skin is to look healthy!

Biggest Skin Concern:

I'm training for the NYC Marathon, so I'm prone to post-workout breakouts (due to excessive sweating).

In the morning I use Bioderma Micellar Water, Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum, Cerave moisturizer with Drunk Elephant Marula Oil, and Biore sunscreen.

You know what’s up! Vitamin C serums are great for brightening up any residual scarring from breakouts, plus all of Drunk Elephant’s products are 6-free: that means no chemical screens, essential oils, alcohols, fragrances and dyes, or SLS.

Also get you a mans like this that wears sunscreen. Even if you’re going from the subway to the office, even if it’s the damn dead of winter, always. wear. sunscreen

At night, I double-cleanse with Algenist oil-based cleanser and Belif water-based cleanser, then follow up with Drunk Elephant TLC, Cerave moisturizer, Drunk Elephant Marula oil. I exfoliate 2x per week, alternating between The Ordinary Peeling Solution and Drunk Elephant Babyfacial.

As someone whose skincare goals are to battle breakouts and clogged pores, you make an excellent choice with Marula oil. Although it can seem counter-intuitive to put oil on acne-prone skin, Marula Oil is actually non-comedogenic, meaning that it won’t clog your pores, and it helps to heal your blemishes faster.
It’s also great to exfoliate a couple times a week to clear out pores, but take notice of how your skin is feeling, and be careful not to over-exfoliate. Over-exfoliation can strip the skin of its microbiome, which results in sensitive and dryer skin than usual.
