Name: Carina

Occupation: Founder of Dedcool

IG Handle: @Carinachaz / @DedCool

Identity: F

Location: Los Angeles

Describe your skin: Combo

Short-term / long-term skin goals: Reduce blackheads and dryness

Biggest concern: Hormonal acne

In both the AM / PM, I wash with LaNatura FACIALWASH | HYALURONIC + LEMON PEEL and tone with willow bark. [Then I moisturize with] Mara Universal Face Oil and Retinol Oil.

Your cleanser contains lemon peel bioferment, which provides some slight daily exfoliation. To keep pores free of blackheads and hormonal flare-ups, consider adding a natural peel into your routine once or twice weekly. Some of our faves are Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask and the Dual Enzyme Softening Peel from Renee Rouleau.
For hydration, face oils are amazing, but we know how that dry heat in LA can do us dirty. Adding a light, but effective moisturizer on top of your oils at night will kick the hydration up a notch. If you’re looking for a clean moisturizer, Pai’s Avocado & Jojoba Cream is a great option. During the day, don’t forget to wear sunscreen! There are so many great products out there to fit every preference. Josh Rosebrook’s Nutrient Cream has SPF 30, so it hydrates and protects!
